Some of the data dictionary reference names are not being recognized by the service.
error: error: unknown variable 'P0280001'
That is correct, according to the documentation located at http://www.census.gov/developers/data/sf1.xml this variable was not released as part of the API.
It is possible that this was an oversight, but it could have also been intentionally left out of the API.
I will update this thread as soon as I have a better understanding of what has happened here.
