API Working again

Everyone,

 

We identified that the problem was in a configuration that was accidentally released.

 

The API is once again working as before.

Invalid API Key

I just signed up and received a key from the Census API. I created a query, copied the key into the query and submitted it. The response said: A valid key must be included with each data API request. You included a key with this request, however, it is not valid. Please check your key and try again. If you do not have a key you my sign up for one here. Invalid Key

Hi, I receive an "Invalid Key" page using my key even when using the sample API URLs. I simply copy and paste my key into the key argument of several of the sample requests, and all return this error. I obtained my key a couple of months ago, but this is the first opportunity I've had to begin work with it. Not accessing Census 2010 SF1 block data correctly

State Legislative Districts in ACS 2008-2012

When querying the ACS 2008-2012, the State Legislative Districts (at least for Utah) are labeled "2010" when using the API and "2012" when using the FactFinder. It looks like the raw summary file data also says 2010. Using the mapping function on FactFinder for estimates from the most recent 5 year ACS shows current State Legislative districts (effective Jan 1, 2013).
