The API now offers 2012 ACS 1 Year data profiles for the nation, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, every congressional district, every metropolitan area, and all counties and places with populations of 65,000 or more.

This is my first time working with this site and the Census data.

On the developer home page it says:

"Data are accessible to software developers through a stateless HTTP GET request. Up to 50 variables can be requested with a single API call.
